In January, Emma and I had the opportunity to attend the 2024 Dallas Total Home and Gift Market. These shows are always filled with so much inspiration and give us insight to what our clients will be looking for in 2024 and 2025.
It is truly a magical place!
This year’s market showcased some of our favorite vendors and introduced us to new partnerships. It’s five million square foot campus filled with 200,000 visitors was buzzing with activity and energy.
The biggest takeaway from our three-day excursion was a return to elegance, the classics and, most importantly, color.
Green was the color we saw in every show room, from furniture to votives. The Pantone color of the year, peach did not go unnoticed, with apricot tones and a little amber tossed into the mix.
Another industry trend that caught our eye was replacing metallics with black. It was in every finish from matte to gloss to texture and beyond. The level of sophistication was dreamy.
Now that we are back in Chicago, we are ready to design some fabulous parties in 2024.
