Attending the yearly Atlanta Gift Market is a truly unique experience. Hunting for the next big thing and using my trained eye to recognize the new major color trends are only part of the thrill. The feeling of being with so many like-minded people that share a common goal is what really gives that creative recharge we all need going into the new year.
Our clients are always on my mind when I go to the market – I’m thinking about how a single item can take on so many diverse personalities for a wide range of events by changing the way we use them. The showrooms are a playground for creators and dreamers.
This year I loved seeing the evolution of design through furniture, fabrics, tabletop decor and lighting, it really does tell us where we are headed and how far we have come.
My favorite finds and trends for 2025:
Black and White is still having a major moment – its evolution from kitschy combo to sophisticated duo is very exciting!
Terracotta Rust tones are really starting to pop up – I look for this to be an emerging color this fall and beyond! It has shed its 70’s skin and now looks so warm and inviting. It’s magical when combined with the black and white movement!
Citron Green is carrying the banner from last year- The green color story is really picking up steam and we are already using it for our 2025 events!
