The Goodman Theater Gala, a highly anticipated event in Chicago’s cultural calendar, is known for its enchanting ambiance and extravagant décor. Each year, the gala transforms The Fairmont Chicago with a new, captivating concept that sets the stage for an evening of celebration and artistic appreciation. Vita E Bella or “Life is Beautiful” was the theme chosen to honor the Women’s Board’s 45th anniversary this year.
As guests arrived at the Fairmont ballroom, they were greeted by a grand entrance adorned with cascading vines, lemons, twinkling lights and topiaries. The lavishness of the entrance set the stage for the visual feast that awaited them inside.
Inside the theater, guests were met with elegant decor that brought a bit of the beauty of life in Italy to Chicago. The stage was a masterpiece of design, boasting a larger-than-life Goodman sign. This stunning visual centerpiece beckoned attendees to the dance floor to party with Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning performer Darren Criss and The Gentleman of Leisure!
