VH Designs created an unforgettable experience for the Highland Park premiere of It Ends With Us. The Wayfarer Theater was transformed into a stunning replica of Lily Bloom’s flower shop. This design choice not only paid homage to the main character, Lily, and her passion for flowers but also created an immersive atmosphere that made attendees feel as though they had stepped directly into the heart of the story.
The theater was adorned with cascading floral, bursting with wisteria in shades of purple just like Lily’s shop. We partnered with Swansons Blossom Shop to create a real flower stand where attendees could purchase individual stems as a keepsake. A custom living greens wall provided the backdrop for the flower stand complete with vintage decor, echoing the charming, old-world vibe of Lily Blooms.
The top of the escalator featured a towering sculpture of boots bursting with flowers. Those that read the book would recognize this as an acknowledgment to one of the first floral arrangements that Lily ever created. No detail was left unwritten in this 2023 bestseller by Colleen Hoover!
On opening night director Justin Baldoni made a guest appearance for a Q&A with the moviegoers. His work with Blake Lively in the film is certainly unforgettable. The movie powerfully illustrates the devastation of abuse and the strength of the survivors.
